PRODUCT REVIEW Hamilton Beach Bread Machine

Image
My husband is trying to go gluten-free.  So before Christmas, we were trying to make gluten-free bread. One of our Christmas presents was a Hamilton Beach bread machine.  It has a gluten-free setting.  Nice, right?  So we have made a few items with it.  After all, it is tax season and I am super busy getting my records to the accountant. My husband has made several loaves of gluten-free bread.  We used the gluten-free setting.   He likes the ease of using the machine.   The bread turned out pretty good.   Gluten-free is a dense bread, so he mainly uses it for toast.   I thought I had a picture, but I guess not.   Sorry. I tried my hand at it and made raisin bread and pizza dough.   These were not gluten-free.  They turned out great.  So easy.  The machine comes with a booklet that lets you know how to use the machine and how to layer your ingredients for the best results. As you can see there are quit...

Cathy Reviews Battery Operated Flour Sifter

Image
Battery Operated Electric Flour Sifter I wanted a sifter to make it a little easier when I had to sift a lot of confectioners sugar for cookie making. I bought this particular sifter from Amazon using an Amazon gift card given by my daughter and thought it would be perfect for my baking adventures. All you need to start it up is 2 AA batteries. It holds 4 cups of flour and vibrates to sift. The cleanup is super easy, just rinse but don't immerse the whole thing in water. I made a video so you can see how it works.  ***************************************************************************  Would you like to help us do reviews? Here's a link to our  wishlist on  Amazon.com . We have items starting as low as $6.  *************************************************************************** Overall, I am pleased with this item. Image
I found this recipe on Spend with Pennies and thought I would try it. Find out my thoughts on the recipe below ⬇️ . Cheddar Meatball Poppers Ingredients 16 small premade meatballs 1 roll crescent dough 1/3 cup cheddar cheese Italian seasoning Tomato sauce for serving 1. Cook meatballs and cool. 2. Pre-heat oven to 375. 3. Half the crescent triangle and put 1/2 tb cheese and meatball in center. 4. Wrap and roll in more cheese. Roll in hands to make cheese stick.  5. Sprinkle each with italian seasoning. 6. Place on parchment paper.  7. Bake 12-14 minutes until browned. 8. Serve hot with tomato sauce. REVIEW: I love how easy it is to make. I had to let them cool off before eating. After dipping them in the tomato sauce, I added Italian seasoning to the sauce. It needed more flavor.  You can make these anyway you like. You can use a better quality meatball. Add spices to the center, too. I r...

EVERYPLATE review

Image
I've ordered from Everyplate before and it's my favorite out of all the other meal subscriptions. Most of the meals take 30 - 35 minutes to prepare. Since I had received an email with a great deal to come back, I just had to order from them once again. It's pretty easy to order from them and you do have choices on how many you want to serve such as 2-4 people and meals per week from 3-5 days. You can choose your meal preferences: Meat and veggie, Veggie, Family friends, and Quick and easy.   You can substitute your meals if you don't happen to like the selection they chose for you, which is a nice feature. If you continue with the weekly subscription, they do give you a chance to skip a week, just make sure you make that choice by the end date for delivery. It is an overnight delivery and they have it packed with frozen packs to keep the perishable cold. I ordered 5 days for 4 servings in my settings. The box was delivered before dinner time but it was in the 90'...
