You can create a delightful combination of sweet and tangy flavors with just a few simple ingredients and minimal preparation. So roll up your sleeves, gather your ingredients, and get ready to enjoy the process of baking these scrumptious cookies! Strawberry Lemonade Cookies by Sassy Silver Sisters NOTES :  I used a small ice cream scoop for uniformity.  When mixing the preserves, I combined the butter and preserves and whipped them together until there were no large chunks of strawberries to make it a smoother consistency then I added the confectioner's sugar.  I stored them in the refrigerator because the frosting was looser than I wanted. I suppose you can add more sugar but that would take away from the taste of the strawberry flavor. If you want the the frosting to be a bit more red in color, you could al...

Sweet Easter Nest Donuts Recipe

Image
These Sweet Easter Nest Donuts are extremely cute and delicious. They take no time to make and are simply adorable.  The original recipe comes from Country Crock  and after looking at the recipe I decided I would try it with a cake mix. You need a donut pan or maker, obviously, to make these donuts. I purchased a set of silicone donut molds on Amazon . Once upon a time, I had an electric donut maker and I have no idea what I did with it, probably donated it to Goodwill. The original recipe makes 6 servings but since I was using a cake mix, it made 2 dozen. You can also use a small box of cake mix if you don't want to make as many. In our household, donuts do not last long. Let's get started making donuts! Ingredients :      Supermoist Vanilla Cake Mix or your favorite cake mix      1 C of water      1/2 C vegetable oil      3 eggs Chocolate Glaze:      8 oz bittersweet chocolate chips    ...

INGREDIENTS 1 dozen hard-boiled eggs peeled 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon honey mustard -- we made our own 4 strips candied bacon diced small -- we used plain bacon 2 handfuls small cherry tomatoes quartered 1 handful basil leaves chopped -- we used dried basil Chili powder to dust We had the ingredients, adjusted the recipe for 3 eggs,  boiled the eggs and cooked bacon in microwave. Funny story! Mom dumped the bacon on the paper towel. I said, "Make it nice." She shook her head. I said, "We are on Social media you know!" She tried to straighten it up. LOL! INSTRUCTIONS Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolk. Put all the yolks in a small mixing bowl and all the whites on a platter. Add mayo and honey mustard to the yolks and mix until well combined and sort of fluffy. Note: We advise adding ...
