DIY Wood Slice Christmas Ornaments

Image
These gorgeous napkin ornaments are simply easy to make. Within a few minutes, you can learn how to make napkin ornaments that you can totally personalize for yourself or friends and family. How do you make Napkin Ornaments? Watch the video. Instructions 1. Gather your supplies. You will need the following: Wood Slice Ornaments  Paper Napkins (I bought mine at Dollar Tree) Mod Podge Scissors Sponge  Paintbrush Fine grit sand block or paper Embellishments ( Dollar Tree ) Craft glue or hot glue (I love this glue gun) 2. Line up the design.  Line up the design you want from the  napkin  onto the  wood slice ornament by  laying the napkin over the top of the wood slice. You don't have to be precise (unless you have a particular design).  3. Separate the napkin.  Paper napkins have more than one ply. Creative Christmas Wrapping Ideas

Image
I love different styles of gift wrapping. Wrapping paper has come a long way and the creativity that folks have is phenomenal. I usually buy wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby  because it’s sturdy and it has grid marks on the back to help with cutting. I go after Christmas for the big sale as they always have lots of paper left. Using embellishments is fun. You can use natural products such as pine cones, evergreens, herbs, etc. If you like ribbons, try using different widths together on a package to give it dimension. I've used pictures as a tag instead of writing who the gift is going to, the photo tells it. Be creative and have fun! Here are some of my favorite styles of gift wrapping along with some links for your convenience. Happy wrapping!!

Maybe you can design your own with a little inspiration from these wonderful ladies who participated in the challenge.
