Introducing the latest trend in healthy eating - mini salad kits in a convenient grab-and-go bag! Enjoy a delicious and nutritious combination of fresh greens, crunchy toppings, and flavorful dressings all packed into a portable package for a quick and easy meal on the go.
Salads have always been known as a healthy and refreshing meal option, but let's be honest, preparing a salad can sometimes be a hassle. From washing and cutting the vegetables to making the dressing, it can take up a lot of time and effort. But what if I told you that you could have a delicious and nutritious salad ready in minutes? Introducing the mini salad kit in a bag – the perfect solution for busy individuals who want a quick and healthy meal.
Gone are the days of boring and wilted salads. The mini salad kit in a bag is a game-changer in the world of salads. It comes in a convenient and compact bag, making it easy to carry and store. The best part? It contains all the necessary ingredients for a tasty salad, and all you have to do is open the bag, mix, and enjoy!
The concept of a mini salad kit in a bag is simple yet genius. Each bag contains a variety of fresh vegetables all pre-washed and pre-cut. This means you can skip the tedious steps of washing and chopping and get straight to the fun part – eating! The vegetables are also sealed in airtight packaging, ensuring their freshness and crispness.
But what's a salad without a delicious dressing? The mini salad kit in a bag has got you covered in that department too. Each bag comes with a small pouch of dressing, perfectly portioned for one serving. Some of them also come with a pouch of crushed croutons, cheese, and pepper.
One of the biggest advantages of a mini salad kit in a bag is its convenience. It's a perfect option for those who are always on the go or don't have access to a kitchen. You can take it to work, school, or even on a road trip. It's also a great option for picnics or outdoor activities. You no longer have to settle for unhealthy fast food when you can have a nutritious and delicious salad in minutes.
Another benefit of a mini salad kit in a bag is its portion control. Each bag contains just the right amount of vegetables and dressing for one serving, making it easier to maintain a healthy diet. It also reduces food waste, as you don't have to buy a whole bag of lettuce when you only need a small portion for your salad. Each bag weighs approximately 4.5oz. each.
These little kits are great but there are a couple of differences I noticed compared to the salads in the bowl. The mini kits are a couple of ounces lighter in ingredients and they don't provide a fork. Also, these little kits are chopped which makes them easier to eat but if you eat them in the bag, it could be a little messy. I haven't tried eating them in the bag because I'm at home when I eat them, so I use a bowl.
Here are a few of the mini salads I bought from Walmart and have tried lately:
Taylor Farms Caesar Mini Salad Kit is the perfect blend of crisp romaine lettuce, tangy Caesar dressing, crunchy croutons, and savory Parmesan cheese, creating a delicious and convenient meal in one small package. I think this kit is my favorite of all that I've tried.
Taylor Farms Green Goddess Ranch Mini Chopped Salad Kit, you get a fresh mix of red and savoy cabbage, green leaf lettuce, shredded broccoli, carrot, cheese and garlic crouton crumbles, and green onion. And it's all perfectly topped off with our tangy and creamy Green Goddess Ranch dressing, featuring all the familiar flavors of two of our most beloved dressings joined together in perfect harmony. This salad was good, but I thought the dressing was a bit too thick.
If you're looking for a light, zesty, and bright salad with a vibrant blend of flavors and textures that's perfect for you, we'd like to kindly turn your attention to this lively Taylor Farms Citrus Crunch Mini Chopped Salad Kit. With red and savoy cabbage, green leaf lettuce, shredded broccoli, diced almond, carrot, and green onion, this salad is bursting with flavor and, yes, plenty of crunch. I liked this kit because of its vinegarette citrus dressing.
In conclusion, the mini salad kit in a bag is a game-changer in the world of salads. It's convenient, healthy, and environmentally friendly (compared to the plastic bowl the Bistro Salads come in). With this innovative product, you can now enjoy a delicious and nutritious salad anytime, anywhere, without any hassle. So next time you're in a rush or craving a refreshing meal, grab a mini salad kit in a bag and treat yourself to a tasty and guilt-free salad.
Have you tried these mini kits? If so, which have you tried and what's your favorite?
We'd love to hear from you!

Do you get sick of eating the same old thing for dinner? I surely do. As I was looking in the frig for some dinner inspiration, I found I had some leftover broccoli and some eggs. So I thought maybe Quiche would do the trick.
I went to the trusty interweb and there were lots of recipes and they looked good, but I didn't have all the ingredients on hand. Plus, I wanted a crustless recipe since my
husband is trying not to eat so much gluten.
I came across this recipe, Bacon Broccoli Cheddar Crustless Quiche. This
recipe makes the quiche high protein and low carb. If you are watching your sugars, as I am,
that is exactly what you need to eat.
Amazingly I
had all the ingredients.
That narrowed
down how I choose the recipe. I did add
a bit of onion which was not on the list.
Since my broccoli was fresh, I put a little butter, chopped onion, and
the broccoli in a pan and cooked it until the broccoli was cooked a
little. I also added a little pepper
too and used some whole milk.
Otherwise, I
followed the instructions. It was easy to make.
🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚
Bacon Broccoli Cheddar Crustless Quiche
Prep Time5mins
Cook Time1hr10mins
Total Time1hr15mins
Servings: 8slices
Ingredients
1lb.frozen broccoli florets
4oz.bacon
4largeeggs
1cupmilk
1/4cupgrated Parmesan
1/4tspseasoning salt*
4oz.shredded medium cheddar, divided
Instructions
Take the broccoli florets out of the freezer so they can begin to thaw. Place the bacon in a skillet and cook over medium-low heat until very brown and crispy. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and pour off most of the grease from the skillet.
Turn the heat under the skillet up to medium-high and add the broccoli florets. Sauté them in the residual bacon grease until they are no longer frozen. Transfer the broccoli to a cutting board. Roughly chop the florets into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
Begin preheating the oven to 350ºF. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Parmesan, and seasoning salt.
Coat a 9-inch pie plate in non-stick spray (or butter, if you prefer). Place the chopped broccoli in the dish along with half of the shredded cheddar. Crumble the bacon over top. Stir the broccoli, cheddar, and bacon together.
Place the pie plate on a baking sheet for easy transport in and out of the oven. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the bacon, broccoli, and cheddar into the dish. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar.
Bake the crustless quiche for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is puffed and it is golden brown around the edges. Let the crustless quiche cool slightly before slicing it into eight pieces and serving.
My husband
loved it. It was enough for us to have two dinners. I thought it
turned out well and I would make it again.
Do you make
quiche? If so, do you use a crust or not?
Until next
time,

We have Kayla, as our guest writer this week, giving her review of a biscuit recipe using Carbquik.
Sometimes I
get a craving for bread and butter. While butter is low-carb, the bread usually
isn’t. When I found Carbquik, I just knew I had to give it a try. Carbquik is
not considered clean keto, but it’s perfect for low-carb and lazy keto diets.
I’ve never made proper
biscuits, only drop biscuits, and these are a good compromise between drop and
cut biscuits. They mix up quickly with the help of a food processor and just
need to be formed in your hands.
My biscuits were a bit crumbly,
which is probably an indication that I should’ve added more heavy cream, but
they browned beautifully and had a decent texture. Warm, with a pat of butter,
they were pretty good.
I will have to do some
experimentation to get the perfect biscuits, but this recipe was a good starting
point. I made 6 instead of 8 and baked them in the convection oven for 8
minutes.
Does anyone have
any good tips on how to make biscuits light and fluffy but not crumbly? We'd love to hear from you, comment below.
Thanks, Kayla for a great review!!

I love chicken and noodles. This recipe was so easy to make. Find out my thoughts on this recipe at the end of the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 c. whole milk
1 1/2 c. low-sodium chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz. fettuccini
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. freshly grated Parmesan
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, 8 minutes per side.
Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice.
Add milk, broth, and garlic to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.
Add fettuccine, frequently stirring for about 3 minutes. Let cook until al dente, 8 minutes more.
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until combined. Simmer until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in sliced chicken. (Notice I left the chicken in and didn't bother anything except stirring more complicated.)
I loved it. It was so easy and tasty. I hope you try it!

I found this recipe very easy to make. Good potatoes really make a difference. Momma Sassy and I thought smaller chunks of potatoes worked better. Overall, I would definitely make this scrumptious potato salad again! I hope you try it!

Sister's Review:
CATHY I was wondering where this restaurant was located. It is in the
old State Theater building. The old theater still has the ticket window. The
halls are decorated with lights to add atmosphere. Signs are everywhere
pointing the way. It is located on the 2nd floor but there is an elevator, so
that is nice. Outdoor seating if you want but it was raining so we decided to
stay in.
It was not busy so we had the place to ourselves! The music makes the mood fun and the restaurant is decorated nicely. The waitress was attentive and took my joking very well.
We ordered samples of the sangria flavors. I preferred the
pineapple flavor.
Food came quickly and warm. I had the pork taco. The serving is small but the flavor is
very good! I enjoyed it. The taco shell was a little too tough and
greasy for me.
I asked the waitress if we need to make reservations for
lunch on weekdays and she said not Mon-Thurs because their busy
time is for dinner and weekends. If you want to secure your table, you
should probably make a reservation though.
Overall, I enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable. Interesting place to
have a meal.
RhondaI had the Strawberry Salad. It was made with arugula and spinach and had some crumbled cheese as well which was not in the description. It was a mild cheese. It had lots of cut strawberries more than any salad I have ever had. The salad came with a strawberry cream dressing. It was pink in color and on the thick side. The taste was a little tangy, mild not overpowering. All in all, I thought the serving size was great and the flavor delicious.
Kelly The sangria is was I was looking forward to trying. We ordered a sample of four. The flavors were Lavendar Lemonade, Pineapple, Cherry Red Wine, and Strawberry. My favorite was the pineapple. The others weren't as flavorful as I had hoped. I ordered the Caribbean Wrap which featured Jerk chicken, lettuce, pineapple mango salsa,
and black beans wrap. I did have a bit of a bite but was not overpowering. It was served with a delicious spring side salad with mixed greens, apples, and cheese. The serving size was just right for lunch. I'd order this dish again.
We decided we would try a couple of desserts and ordered the Tres Leche cake and the Cheese and Guava Empanada. The Tres Leche cake was sweet, moist, and spongy just like it should be. The empanada was a delicious surprise. The guava gave it the sweetness it needed because the cheese didn't have that much flavor and was a bit tough, assuming because it was deep-fried. The crust was crispy and flaky.
Star rating: ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ out of 5 - We gave the restaurant 4 stars because we weren't all 100% pleased with the food. But that being said, we would give it another try because we loved the atmosphere and the staff was superb. If you live in the area, we recommend trying The Sangria Bowl out for a change.
Cathy made this cute video, check it out!
Our rating system is 1 - 5 stars.
1 ⭐ =Poor. There’s nothing good about the restaurant. We won't be returning.
2 ⭐ ⭐ =Okay. The restaurant has one or two good qualities. It might be a delicious dish, helpful staff, or an inviting atmosphere. Still, you have no interest in visiting again.
3 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ =Good. A fine example of a specific kind of restaurant. It can be delicious food with excellent service. We may think about returning if we wish to have that particular cuisine.
5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ = Extraordinary. Meets an elite standard by which you judge all other restaurants. The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented.
We'd love to hear from you, especially if you have tried TSB. Comment below!
