Things We Did as Kids That Would Never Fly Today Remember when childhood meant walking out the front door in the morning and not coming home until dinner? No cell phone. No GPS. No smartwatch tracking our every move. Somehow, our parents managed to survive without knowing our exact location every 30 seconds! We had freedom, we had adventures, and occasionally…we probably had absolutely no common sense. 😂 Here are some things many of us did as kids that would probably make today's parents reach for their phones—and possibly their blood pressure medication. 🚲 We Rode Our Bikes Everywhere We jumped on our bicycles and took off. No helmets. No knee pads. No reflective clothing. Sometimes not even shoes! We rode around the neighborhood, down the street, through the woods, and anywhere else our bikes could take us.
