What brings you joy???

***Updated 4/29/23*** I've been thinking lately about what brings me joy. We all go through trials in our lives and I believe that during the struggle we can find a blessing and joy. Here are a few things that bring me JOY: My Lord as Savior is the foremost JOY in my life. If it wasn't for him giving me life and victory to fight the good fight, I don't know where I'd be today. Advice on Raising Children

***UPDATED 12/26/22*** We think having and raising a family is the most wonderful gift from above. We three sisters thought we'd share some advice from our own experiences. 1. Hold your babies! They need that connection with their mom, dad, or whoever is taking care of them. It's so fun to watch their expressions while they sleep. 2. Feed your babies while holding them. Children shouldn't be an inconvenience so make sure you take the time to feed them properly. 3. Talk to your children. They learn to communicate when they are being talked to you by you, not the TV or electronics. 4. Read to your kids. Just maybe they will love to read when they're older. It's a good thing. 5. Please join us as we raise money,  through Samaritan's Purse, for w omen in poor communities and remote villages that lack access to basic health and obstetric care. Women, especially single mothers, also struggle to provide for their newborns and children because they have little education or job skills. Some women are so desperate for work they illegally cross country borders for jobs that pay little and come with verbal or physical abuse. In return, if together we reach our goal of $2000, the Sassy Silver Sisters will take pies to the face and video tape it for your enjoyment.
