DIY Dollar Tree Bless This Home Fall Sign

This DIY Bless This Home Fall sign is so adorable and easy to make using Dollar Tree products. This craft cost me all of $4. I did have some of the supplies already in my craft arsenal but even so, it’s a fraction of what you would pay for something similar at Hobby Lobby or some other home store. Prep Time 5 minutes      A ctive Time 15 minutes        Drying Time 30 minutes        Total Time 50 minutes       Difficulty Easy SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED: Dollar Tree pizza pan Dollar Tree round fall sign Dollar Tree Rope Glue gun and glue stick Chalk Paint in white Faux leaves Paintbrush INSTRUCTIONS Paint the pizza pan white with chalk paint. We love our fire pit and use it year-round. My husband has become a great fire starter but we found out that having a little help makes it less work to get the fire going.  I’ve been making these fire starter rolls for a couple of years now and they’re super easy and cost little to nothing to make.  Materials you need: Cardboard tubes Dryer Lint Cookie Tin Candles Wax paper Empty can or a wax pouring pot Essential oils, if you desire Pan with water Potholder Instructions : Create a double boiler by placing the empty can or pot in the pan with water. Make sure the can is clean and dry. Place the candle into the can/pot. Heat the water to melt the candle wax. Drop a few drops of essential oils in the hot wax and stir. (Below are some essential oils you may use if you would like to keep the mosquitos away.) Line the bottom of the tin with wax paper.   As I was looking for my bread machine book recently, the drawer was such a mess that I decided to clean it out.  While cleaning out the drawer I found this Milk and Honey Bread recipe for bread makers.  It sounded so good I had to try it.  So, I got my bread machine out, and low and behold the book was inside the machine.  Too late, I had already decided to try this recipe.  Besides, if this recipe flopped, I had time to make my regular bread. Milk and Honey Bread Recipe Ingredients :  1 cup plus 1 TBS milk   3 TBS honey (I used my husband’s honey, Pop’s Bees )    3 TBS butter (melted) 1.5 teaspoons salt   3 cups bread flour   2 teaspoons active dry yeast (not bread machine yeast) Instructions : Add ingredients to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by your bread machine manufacturer.    Settings:    Basic with Medium crust  Size: 1.5 lb This bread turned out GREAT!!   As you ...

I missed the first 4 months so I'm starting with May and it happens to be Lemon Meringue Pie. Better late than never is my motto.  I've always been impressed with TOH recipes, as you could probably tell by the Recipe of the Week, I make a lot of their recipes. BLT DEVILED EGGS Mom  and I decided to do something different and thought deviled eggs was a good one. We had all ingredients so thought we would give it a try. INGREDIENTS 1 dozen hard-boiled eggs peeled 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon honey mustard -- we made our own 4 strips candied bacon diced small -- we used plain bacon 2 handfuls small cherry tomatoes quartered 1 handful basil leaves chopped -- we used dried basil Chili powder to dust We had the ingredients, adjusted the recipe for 3 eggs,  boiled the eggs and cooked bacon in microwave. Funny story! Mom dumped the bacon on the paper towel. I said, "Make it nice." She shook her head. I said, "We are on Social media you know!" She tried to straighten it up. LOL! INSTRUCTIONS Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolk. Put all the yolks in a small mixing bowl and all the whites on a platter. Cathy's Chicken BBQ and Coleslaw Recipes

***UPDATED 8/5/23***   This is so easy and I use to make this with a variety of meats and serve it to my family on  many occasions. Ingredients for the BBQ: Chicken, used three chicken breasts BBQ sauce, your choice Hamburger buns Instructions: Rinse the chicken and cover with water with a pinch of salt in a crockpot on high. Cook until the chicken is white all the way through. It doesn't take long once the pot it hot. Maybe 10-15 minutes. Shred it in a pot and add 1/2 bottle of BBQ sauce. Turn it on low and let it cook. All day or all night.  I left it on all night and smelled wonderful when I woke up.  Ingredients for the Coleslaw: 16 oz. coleslaw in a bag 1/2 C mayonnaise 1 tsp apple cider vinegar 1/4 C sugar, more or less depending on how sweet you like it Celery seed Instructions: Dump coleslaw mix in a bowl.
