Magnolia Wreath

I did not know there were different colors of magnolia because I had only seen white.

Here are the meanings in case you decide to make your wreath a different color.

Magnolia Color Meanings:

  • Yellow magnolia represents the sun, any solar goddess or god, and for spells case on Sundays.
  • White magnolia represents the moon, any lunar goddess, and spells cast on Mondays.
  • Pink magnolia represents the feminine, friends, and love. Spells using pink flowers are best cast on Friday, the day belonging to love goddesses like Venus or Aphrodite.
  • Purple magnolia associated with royalty since Roman times, is best for spells dealing with governments.

Seed Packet Wreath Tutorial

***UPDATED 4/27/24***

We sisters love to craft together. Cathy came up with this craft idea and thought the seed packet wreath would make a great gift for Mama Sassy since she loves flowers. Mother's Day is coming soon.

It's an inexpensive gift, depending on where you buy your supplies, under $10. Rhonda picked up the 10" styrofoam wreath and the seed packs at the Dollar Tree for under $5. Cathy brought the glue gun with the glue sticks and I had the burlap ribbon in my stash of craft supplies.

What you will need:

Instructions:
  1. Wrap the wreath with the ribbon. Make sure you use glue to adhere to the ribbon at the beginning and the end.
  2. Decide how you want to place your seed packets. You can color coordinate or use a random placement.
  3. Glue the packets to the wreath.
  4. Make your bow and adhere with glue.
