This craft is simply cute and only takes a few items to make. My grandson loved it when I gave it to him, he said "It's HALLOWEEN?"  I gave it to him the day we made it, he's only 4 years old and has no concept of time. But that made me happy that he loved it. Thanks Cathy for suggesting this craft. Here's what you will need: Marshmallows Mini Marshmallows White Chocolate Covered Pretzels Black Candy Melts Long Lollipop Sticks Toothpicks Clear Treat Bags String Hole Punch " No Bones About it " printable FREE to you our friends :) Instructions : Step 1:  Gather all your supplies to make these as quick as possible. What brings you joy???

Image
***Updated 4/29/23*** I've been thinking lately about what brings me joy. We all go through trials in our lives and I believe that during the struggle we can find a blessing and joy. Here are a few things that bring me JOY: My Lord as Savior is the foremost JOY in my life. If it wasn't for him giving me life and victory to fight the good fight, I don't know where I'd be today. Thank you, Lord!! My husband Jay, is my greatest earthly joy. He makes me laugh at the dumbest things and he keeps me grounded. He's a wonderful father, grandfather, and provider and he's the love of my life. I'm glad he found me! My children are a blessing and a joy, no matter how old they are, they will always be my babies. My grandchildren are just the icing on the cake with a big old JOY on top. I love them to the moon and back. What's the saying, "If I had known grandchildren were this much fun I would have had them first". My dog Baxter is a wo...

Hey Valentine "I Dig You" Craft Idea

Image
We recently found a Valentine's craft to do for our grandkids and it looked like an easy one to create. The only problem we had was finding the little white sand shovels. Needless to say, we couldn't find them this time of year but we did find some inexpensive plastic shovels at Walmart for only $.94 that would work in a pinch. Kelly made the tags that she is offering to YOU for free. Just click the pdf file link below and print them on card stock paper. Supplies you will need: Small plastic shovel Walmart or Amazon ( if you keep this idea in mind for next year, grab some shovels at the Dollar Store when they are in season ) Clear plastic goodie bags  big enough for the shovel and treats. Ribbon  Assorted candies, treats I DIG YOU tag Directions: Simply just put the shovel in the bag, add the treats, tie on the tag with a ribbon, wire, or whatever you have on hand, and wrap a pretty bow. "VOILA" you have a simple yet lovely give to give to your sweetheart. Check out...

Skittles Candy Coated Popcorn Recipe Review

Image
***UPDATED 9/2/23***   I always like to try to make recipes with popcorn. I found this recipe that I thought would be fun and taste great. The recipe was found here at  Penny Pinchin Mom . Skittles Candy Coated Popcorn Ingredients: 4 cups of popcorn (plain, unsalted) 4 oz. butter or margarine 1/2 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup of Skittles® (use one flavor for each batch) Waxed paper Instr uctions or better yet what I did: 1. Separated candies by color. 2. Popped the popcorn and placed it in a bowl, set aside. 3. Put a sheet of waxed paper on the counter. 4. Melted butter with brown sugar on the stove on low heat. Stirred frequently to avoid scorching. 5. Pour in Skittles® candies. Stir until melted (you need to mash them down to help them dissolve). 6. Pour the hot candy mixture over the top of the popcorn & use a spatula to fold in the mixture until the popcorn is well covered. DO THIS QUICKLY! 7. Put the popcorn on waxed paper and spread thinly to allow it to cool. My rev...
