When it comes to sales, I'm all about it. Every month of the year there are deals from linens to cars. If you are thinking about making a big purchase, here is a monthly guide to save big bucks.

  • JANUARY - Bedding, Carpeting, Computer monitors, Cookware, Houses and condos, Furniture, Linens, Swimwear, Toys, Fitness equipment, Tax filing software, Winter clothes, Holiday decor 
  •  DO NOT BUY IN JANUARY - Gym memberships, Video Game Consoles, Smartphones, Laptops
  • FEBRUARY - Electronics, Humidifiers, TVs, Home theaters, Winter related items

  • MARCH - Digital cameras, Small electronics, Smartphones, Cruises (maybe not the best decision for this year), Luggage, Winter Sports Gear

  • APRIL - Computers, Lawnmowers, Spring apparel, Jewelry, Vacuum cleaners

  • MAY - Athletic apparel and shoes, Camping and outdoor gear, Carpeting, Mattresses, Small consumer electronics, Refrigerators, Star Wars Items  
  • DO NOT BUY IN MAY - Grills, Perennial Plants, Athletic apparel, Lingerie
  • JUNE - Gym memberships, Indoor furniture, Pots, pans, and dishware, Summer sports gear, PC Games, Lingerie, Workout Gear, Air Conditioners  
  • DO NOT BUY IN JUNE - Amazon Alexa Devices, Laptops, Summer Clothing 
  • JULY - Furniture, Swimwear, Suits, Tools, Outdoor Gear  
  • DO NOT BUY IN JULY - Laptops, Early Back to School Sales, Lawn Mowers

  • AUGUST - Air conditioners, School supplies, Dehumidifiers, Lawnmowers, Outdoor furniture, Snowblowers, Swimwear, Laptops  
  • DO NOT BUY IN AUGUST - Lastest iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note20, Fall Clothes, Major appliances, TVs
  • SEPTEMBER -  Big appliances (except for refrigerators), Bikes, Cars, Gas grills, Outdoor perennial plants, Thanksgiving travel tickets, Wine, Mattresses  
  • DO NOT BUY IN SEPTEMBER - Older iPhones, Airfare, TVs, Halloween Costumes, Broadway Tickets
  • OCTOBER - Prime Day Sales, Air conditioners, Christmas travel tickets, Digital cameras, Toys, Wedding supplies and services requiring vendors, New Cars, Halloween Costumes, Pizza Takeout, Plants   
  • DO NOT BUY IN OCTOBER - TVs, Appliances, Gift Cards, iPhone 12, Laptops, Electronics, Winter Clothing, 
  • NOVEMBER - Halloween Candy & Costumes, Baking Supplies, Baby goods, Fresh Christmas trees, Recreational vehicles, GPS navigators, TVs  
  • DO NOT BUY IN NOVEMBER - Winter clothing, Gift Cards, Exercise Equipment, Jewelry
  • DECEMBER - Home appliances, Gift cards, Headphones, Tools, Toys and Video Games, Holiday decorations (after Christmas) 
  • DO NOT BUY IN DECEMBER - Exercise Equipment, Bedding, Winter Clothing
