DIY - How to Make an Airtight Lid for Any Bagged Item

Image
Would you like to know how to put a lid on all those bags of sugar, candy, cereal, etc.? Cathy found out a way and wants to share it with YOU! What you will need: A plastic bottle with a screw top. A bag of whatever you want to keep fresh or just pour-able. Instructions:  Take the wrapper off the plastic bottle.  Cut the top of the bottle and cutting it short helps with the process. With the lid off, thread the bag through the top. Fold the bag over the top enough to cover the thread. Push the screw top down over the bag and then screw the top on. The bag will twist with it but you can turn the bag and it will be fine. Try it out and let us know how it works for you!! Thank you for following us and if you haven't already subscribed to receive our weekly blog post, just click on the SUBSCRIBE button above and you will be the first to find out what's going on in our sassy brain. 😉 The Sassy Silver Sisters Cathy, Rhonda and Kelly

God’s Glory Box Unboxing Review January 2020

Image
God’s Glory Box is a monthly subscription box for Christians.  You can try it out for a month or buy a lifetime subscription. The prices range from $32 to $499.99. I bought a year subscription for $125 at the time because they were offering 1/2 off  when I subscribed so I thought I’d enjoy a year of boxes. Each month you will receive 3-4 hand-picked, high quality Christian items. In addition to those 3-4 items, 1-2 sharable items will be included to promote the spreading of God’s Glory. Each box will contain Christian related media, products, artwork, clothing, accessories, baked goods and Christian made snacks, and stationary to ensure that God is around you (and others, when shared) ALL DAY! They scour the internet, including sites such as Etsy and Instagram to find Christian artists and creators with beautiful products to share to a Loving audience.  The world is filled with many problems and issues that need to be addressed. For each box they ship, they donate 5 meals vi

Rhonda would like to share you with her love for DoTerra Oils.   I manage my husband’s two businesses.  In my spare time I am a DoTerra Advocate.  I love the DoTerra oils and other products they offer such as diffusers, beauty and skin products, dietary supplements and more.   I would like to tell you about one of my favorite products, On Guard oil.  This oil comes in a 15 ml bottle.  It is a blend made up of Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Leaf, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Leaf and Rosemary Leaf/Flower essential oils.  It smells GREAT! On Guard can be used aromatically, topically and internally.  I use it aromatically in a diffuser to help kill germs in my office and home, especially during the winter months when all kinds of sickness are going around.   I also put some in a misting bottle with water to use has a room disinfectant and deodorizer. I also use it topically on my feet to help bust my immune system.  DoTerra has made it easy to do this by mak

The Dreaded TO DO List

Image
***UPDATED on 12/26/22*** The Dreaded TO DO List Are you one of those people that can't seem to get all the list checked off in one day? You are not alone! Try something different until you get in the groove of getting most of the items checked off! Prioritize your list. Make sure you have the most important thing for the day completed. Then move on to the medium jobs to get done. After those are completed, you can move on to the less important but would like to get those done if you can. If you use an app, stick to just one app.  If you have too many list apps, you will get so confused. When you have an item on your list, put as many details in so you know how long it will take to complete. Don't forget to mark ✅ DONE ✅ or cross that item off your list! Some people like to have pen-and-paper lists. Nothing wrong with that, as you will get a bit of satisfaction crossing that item off that dreaded TO-DO list! All people are made differently and what wor

Walmart Fall Beauty Box Unboxing 2019-20

Image
Hey everyone! It's been a few weeks since we last posted. We are going to TRY to be more consistent with Monday being the day we push out our blog posts. So on that note, we are going to be chatting about the Walmart Fall Beauty Box.  Kelly has a few box subscriptions and Walmart Beauty Box is one of them. It is a quarterly box and costs $5 which includes shipping. It's suppose to be the FALL beauty box but she received it in the mail in December, which was a little annoying because fall is over and winters begins.  The box usually includes a full size product but most of the products are sample or travel size. The first thing you see when you open the box is a square white paper giving you a little insight on what you can expect in the box "FALL FAVES". On the other side of the paper they give you the opportunity to enter to win a $100 gift card if you take a survey on the box. It's worth a try, who doesn't want to win $100? We opened the tis
