***updated 1/27/24*** Typically, we share a cocktail recipe with you on our Facebook LIVE videos every month. Recently we were asked to share the recipes with all our readers. We are not what you'd call savvy drinkers but we like a cocktail now and then. Here are the last three cocktails we made since January 2017. Let us know what you think and maybe even share your cocktail recipes with us. Here is January's cocktail: SOS (Save Our Sanity) we made this up and thought it was funny LOL shot of Absolut Vodka 1/2 shot of Chambord Raspberry Liqueur Splash of Cranberry Juice Splash of Pineappl e Juice Shake with ice and strain into a highball glass. February's Cocktail: Love Martini 1/2 shot Malibu Rum 1/2 shot Peach Schnapps 1/2 shot Citron or Plain Vodka (we used plain) 3 shots of Cranberry Juice 2 Strawberries for garnish Wedge of lime Sugar to rim the glass Mix the Rum, Schnapps, Vodka, and Cranberry juice

We were given a sample of Subherban Roots Salve to try and review. First a little about Subherban Roots.  They have a ¼ acre neighborhood-based permaculture homestead and apothecary located in old-town Warrenton, Virginia . They focus on growing medicinal herbs and making handmade preparations for themselves and others. They grow biologically and never use pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Their mission is to pursue sustainable and community sourced living options for suburban & sub rural communities and to show that it's not the amount of land you have access to but what you do with it that counts! Now onto the review.  The salve was orange in color, which we believe is from the cayenne pepper ingredient. It smelled medicinal at first  like some other salves we've tried, not sure if it was from the rosemary herb. After we rubbed the salve into the skin , it no longer smelled medicinal.  It was smooth in texture and a little bit went a long way. W

Kelly bought these Dulzura Candy & Snacks at TJ Maxx. We had never tried them so thought, what the heck. ***UPDATED 12/26/22*** We think having and raising a family is the most wonderful gift from above. We three sisters thought we'd share some advice from our own experiences. 1. Hold your babies! They need that connection with their mom, dad, or whoever is taking care of them. It's so fun to watch their expressions while they sleep. 2. Feed your babies while holding them. Children shouldn't be an inconvenience so make sure you take the time to feed them properly. 3. Talk to your children. They learn to communicate when they are being talked to you by you, not the TV or electronics. 4. Read to your kids. Just maybe they will love to read when they're older. It's a good thing. 5. Play with your kids. The imagination of children is fueled by you. How fun it is to watch their little minds make up stories and pretend. We hope this helps all of you new parents or soon-to-be parents. Congratulations to Kelly, as she was blessed with her 5th grandchild this J
