Blessing Bags are gallon-size bags that contain snacks, travel-size toiletries, socks, a bottle of water, grooming supplies, and other items that people who live on the street find useful. Bags are kept in your car, so when you encounter a person who is experiencing homelessness, you can offer the bag to them.





We love this idea and if you make them ahead of time you will always have one when you need it!

  As I was looking for my bread machine book recently, the drawer was such a mess that I decided to clean it out.  While cleaning out the drawer I found this Milk and Honey Bread recipe for bread makers.  It sounded so good I had to try it.  So, I got my bread machine out, and low and behold the book was inside the machine.  Too late, I had already decided to try this recipe.  Besides, if this recipe flopped, I had time to make my regular bread.  ***UPDATED 10/2/24*** Cathy's Homemade Wrinkle Release Spray for Clothing  I sell clothing online and sometimes they are extremely wrinkled. Plus, I use this for my own clothing. I have been using this recipe for about 3 years now and works great for me.  This is simple and inexpensive.   Recipe:        14 oz spray bottle        12 oz of water        1 tsp fabric softener        1 tsp alcohol   Instructions :   Mix all ingredients by shaking. Hang the clothing up on a hanger, I hang mine in the shower.   Spray generously on those stubborn wrinkles and stretch the fabric at the wrinkle to straighten.    Let dry overnight. So easy!
