DIY Birthday Cake Boxes for People in Need

***UPDATED 1/27/24*** I stumbled upon this Birthday Cake Box for the needy on Pinterest and thought what a fabulous idea.  It’s super quick & easy to make and donate to the food pantry/people in need.  The  Dollar Tree  and  Walmart have the  cake mixes and frosting for just over $1 and lots of paper products and inexpensive party supplies. For just under $10 you can make them for your local shelter or food pantry. Kids get a kick out of helping and it also makes a great service project for scout groups and church ministry groups. Here's what you need to make a Birthday Cake Box: 9x13 Disposable aluminum foil pan with a lid, it's helpful to have the lid for packaging and delivering purposes. 1 box of cake mix, any flavor you like  1 can of lemon-lime soda (in case the recipient doesn’t have eggs or oil) Birthday candles You can add birthday napkins, candles, a banner, etc. Did you know that you can make a delicious cake out of nothing but a box of cake mix and a can of lemo
