Name of restaurant: Craft and Craft Pizza Tavern in Remington, Virginia Date of visit: Thursday,  April 21, 2022 Star rating:  ⭐ ⭐  ⭐ ⭐ out of 5 We recently had lunch together at the Craft and Crust Pizza Tavern located at  204 East Main Street, Remington, Virginia 22734. We arrived around 11:45 thinking we’d beat the lunch crowd.  It's a fairly new restaurant and seems to have been widely accepted in the community by their Facebook page. They serve brick oven pizza, along with antipasti, subs, salads, and a kid's menu. Also, local craft beer.  When we arrived at the location, the parking was readily available on the street. I’m sure on the weekends that would be a problem as the parking on the street is minimal. They have outdoor seating in the front of the building for those who want to enjoy eating outside. CCPT takes up one-half of the building and I believe they are working on adding an extra dining area in the vacant half of the building.   We walked in and noticed their

***UPDATED 4/27/24*** We sisters love to craft together. Cathy came up with this craft idea and thought the seed packet wreath would make a great gift for Mama Sassy since she loves flowers. Mother's Day is coming soon. It's an inexpensive gift, depending on where you buy your supplies, under $10. Rhonda picked up the 10" styrofoam wreath and the seed packs at the Dollar Tree for under $5. Cathy brought the glue gun with the glue sticks and I had the burlap ribbon in my stash of craft supplies. What you will need: wreath, styrofoam , or wire ribbon, your choice seed packets glue gun with glue sticks Instructions: Wrap the wreath with the ribbon. Make sure you use glue to adhere to the ribbon at the beginning and the end. Decide how you want to place your seed packets. You can color coordinate or use a random placement. ***UPDATED 4/27/24*** Asparagus is now in season in Virginia. I happen to like asparagus, how about you? My preference is to grill it on our gas grill with some olive oil and salt/pepper. Oh so good! Here are some fun facts about asparagus.  Asparagus has been cultivated for 2,500 years and for almost 150 years in the United States. It takes three years from seed to harvest. California is among the top 3 states in asparagus production. Other states that produce bunches of asparagus include Washington and Michigan, while others produce very small quantities. Sea salt was the asparagus farmer’s original herbicide. White asparagus and green asparagus come from the same plant. Green asparagus gets its color from sunlight. When the plant breaks through the ground, the sun hits it, turning it green. These Sweet Easter Nest Donuts are extremely cute and delicious. They take no time to make and are simply adorable.  The original recipe comes from Country Crock  and after looking at the recipe I decided I would try it with a cake mix. You need a donut pan or maker, obviously, to make these donuts. I purchased a set of silicone donut molds on Amazon . Once upon a time, I had an electric donut maker and I have no idea what I did with it, probably donated it to Goodwill. The original recipe makes 6 servings but since I was using a cake mix, it made 2 dozen. You can also use a small box of cake mix if you don't want to make as many. In our household, donuts do not last long. Let's get started making donuts! Ingredients :      Supermoist Vanilla Cake Mix or your favorite cake mix      1 C of water      1/2 C vegetable oil      3 eggs Chocolate Glaze:      8 oz bittersweet chocolate chips      2 T light corn syrup     1 Stick of  butter, hot and melted      1/2 t kosher salt Toppi
