Microbreweries are popping up everywhere. They are innovative in their brands and make great beer. BUT, if you don't like beer, what do you drink? Not Your Father's Root Beer. Rhonda was having a conversation with a friend about drinking beer and this particular beer came up. It's brewed by the  Small Town Brewery of Wauconda, Illinois. She bought the beer at LIDL grocery store. We tasted the beer and decided it did indeed taste like root beer but with a twist. Upon opening you could smell the vanilla aroma and the alcohol was detected. Rhonda liked it, which is unusual for her to like any alcoholic beverage. She said she'd bring it to a party if they were serving beer. Cathy thought it was too sweet for her taste but thought it would make a great dessert beverage. Hey everyone!! This blog post is a product review of Paul Mitchell Scalp Care. Cathy's daughter, Michele (who is a hair stylist) gave us samples of the product. We all three used it and since it really takes up to 60 days to see a difference, we couldn't give a full evaluation. But that said, we do think the product smelled medicinal, more than likely because of the tea tree oil. The color turned us off because we have white hair and using colored shampoos other than purple/blue shampoos, may make our hair a bit yellow.  Kelly said the tonic made her scalp tingle and maybe it was working on her. She didn't have enough product in the bottle to really tell. If you want to try the product, ask your hair stylist if she/he has a sample box. Here's our video review of the product. It's fun to play games, right? Mad Libs story games are always a hoot so we decided to play it with a twist. To play the game, you fill in blanks of a partially written story with nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. When the blanks are filled in, a person reads the story out loud while the others try not laugh. The twist is they have a mouth full of water and if they laugh, the water will burst forth all over the place. Don't give the sisters a challenge because they will do their darnedest not to fail!! For our  February LIVE Facebook video, we thought we'd try out a Pinterest project of these adorable Leprechaun Hat & S'more's. How good do they look? Chocolate, Keebler's striped cookies and marshmallows. What's not to love about that? As you can see by our attempt on LIVE video, they didn't turn out to half bad. We didn't dip the whole cookie in the chocolate like the directions said to but for time sake that part worked out fine. We dipped the marshmallows in the chocolate with toothpick and set them on a plate, put them in the freezer for a bit. After taking them out of the freezer, we dipped one side in chocolate to attach to the cookie. This is where we failed. We should have dipped the chocolate covered marshmallows in the green chocolate then dipped them in the green sugar. Our attempt to make a shamrock failed also. It was all in fun and if you want to try and make them yourself, we would suggest taking a bit more time than we did. H
