  As Christmas approaches, the Sassy Silver Sisters are filled with joy and excitement. We can't help but feel grateful for another year of laughter, love, and sisterhood. Christmas has always been a special time for us, as we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus, exchange thoughtful gifts, and indulge in delicious homemade treats. But this year, as we reflect on the past 12 months, we are reminded that the true meaning of Christmas goes far beyond the materialistic aspects. It's about cherishing the moments spent with our loved ones, spreading kindness and love to those around us, and being grateful for all the blessings in our lives. As we enter a new year, we are filled with hope and anticipation for what's to come. The start of a new year brings a sense of renewal and the opportunity to set new goals and make positive changes in our lives.   New Year’s Resolutions are great for making positive changes in your life.  I'm personally not a New Year's resolution person but I see nothing wrong with it. I just have a problem keeping them. My husband does well with them because he's much more disciplined than myself. I do believe it is the perfect time to make a change in one's life. Have you ever heard of "New Year, New Me"? New Year's resolutions are not something I enjoy, mainly because I fall short on those goals. Do you feel the same way? According to one study, about   80% of people who make New Year's resolutions   have given them up by the second week of February. Have you heard of  "Quitter's Day"?  January 19th seems to be the day most people quit their resolutions and goals, based on research from more than 800 million user-logged activities in 2019. I believe it is possible to accomplish those goals as long as you're being realistic. Start small. The smaller the goal, the bigger the impact it can have on your life and the more likely you will see it through. Whether it's self-care, learning something new, or just trying to be a better person overall, you can achieve those goals and a brighter future for yourself. I've come up with 50 NY resolutions ( with the help of some articles I read in  Woman's Day Magazine ,  Very Well Mind ,  and  The Pioneer Woman )

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2020 was a challenging year and we hope that 2021 will be better and that we can get to more of our normal life. Sad to say, this may be our new normal for a while. Oh well, let's talk about something we all love to talk about and that's food! We LOVE Chick-fil-A! Did you know that their most delicious special sauce was invented by the owner of our local Fredericksburg CFA restaurant? Indeed it was and you can read about it here  Serendipitous sauce the chick-fil-a sauce story . It's a great story!! I don’t get to CFA as often as I would like. I keep their sauce on hand but when it runs out, oh my, what shall we do. We found out that Walmart has a Great Value Chicken Dipping Sauce that rivals CFA Sauce . My daughter decided to try a taste test and I was in. Here’s what we found out: First off, my daughter put the two sauces in separate bowls and marked them A & B. I was supposed to guess by looking & tasting which one was which. I knew r
