Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family to celebrate all that we are thankful for. There are many different kinds of foods that can be served at a typical Thanksgiving meal. A traditional Thanksgiving menu typically consists of a roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner rolls, and a variety of pies for dessert. In addition to this, many people like to serve a variety of side dishes including sweet potatoes, cornbread, yams, salads, macaroni and cheese, deviled eggs, and more. Turkey is usually the main event of the meal but other dishes like ham or roast beef are also popular.   I have started a new project called the August 2023 Dinner Meal Plan. I'm a planner especially when it comes to weekly dinners. I don't like to grocery shop so the Walmart Grocery Pickup and Delivery service is a Godsend.  I sell the plan, for a super low price, in my Etsy shop  and it gives you four weekly menus, 28 dinner recipes, and 4 dessert recipes. I try and use seasonal fruits and vegetables in the recipes. ***UPDATED 3/4/23*** St. Patrick’s Day observes the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The holiday has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking, and a whole lot of green.  Remember when you were in school and if you weren't wearing green you were pinched? I always tried to wear green 🤣 Do you blame me? 🍀 I don't know about you but we love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with food. I'm not sure we have any Irish in us but we can all celebrate along with those that are Irish. Ireland is well known for great meals like corned beef and cabbage and that is one dish my family and I thoroughly enjoy eating. I've made it in the crockpot and on the stovetop.
