  As Christmas approaches, the Sassy Silver Sisters are filled with joy and excitement. We can't help but feel grateful for another year of laughter, love, and sisterhood. Christmas has always been a special time for us, as we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus, exchange thoughtful gifts, and indulge in delicious homemade treats. But this year, as we reflect on the past 12 months, we are reminded that the true meaning of Christmas goes far beyond the materialistic aspects. It's about cherishing the moments spent with our loved ones, spreading kindness and love to those around us, and being grateful for all the blessings in our lives. As we enter a new year, we are filled with hope and anticipation for what's to come. The start of a new year brings a sense of renewal and the opportunity to set new goals and make positive changes in our lives. Inspiring Story #3 Engagement

***UDPATED 9/2/23*** We are on the third installment of our Inspiring Stories series. This one comes from the Good News Network. Check the link and read some heartwarming stories. We can all use some good news nowadays. This story is about a young man named Will, his girlfriend, Ashley, and her sister, Hannah, who has Down syndrome. Will and Ashley had been dating for several years. In the meantime, Ashley took legal guardianship of Hannah. Now obviously Ashley is protective of her sister and wanted to make sure she was included in every aspect of her life. Will knew this and when it came time to pop the question, he asked Hannah first to be his best friend forever. Will!! You are a keeper!!! Ashley, you are one blessed young woman. Advice on Raising Children

***UPDATED 12/26/22*** We think having and raising a family is the most wonderful gift from above. We three sisters thought we'd share some advice from our own experiences. 1. Hold your babies! They need that connection with their mom, dad, or whoever is taking care of them. It's so fun to watch their expressions while they sleep. 2. Feed your babies while holding them. Children shouldn't be an inconvenience so make sure you take the time to feed them properly. 3. Talk to your children. They learn to communicate when they are being talked to you by you, not the TV or electronics. 4. Read to your kids. Just maybe they will love to read when they're older. It's a good thing. 5. Play with your kids. The imagination of children is fueled by you. How fun it is to watch their little minds make up stories and pretend. We hope this helps all of you new parents or soon-to-be parents. Congratulations to Kelly, as she was blessed with her 5th grandchild this J
