Cathy - I loved this story! It includes new and old relationships. A couple, Kinsley and Ryker, find love. The story has a bit of suspense. The story is about finding Ryker's missing brother and his sister-in-law while taking care of his nephew Dawson. The eleven chapters are easy to read because once you start, you don't want to stop reading. I can't wait for the next book by LN Goodyear!

Rhonda - What can I say about this book?  I loved the characters and the storyline. It was an easy read and I didn't want to put the book down.  I was pulled into the plot right away and wanted to keep going, which is pretty much what happened.  I like mystery and romance blended together.  I'm into crime shows and books so I like trying to figure out who or where the bad guy is.  This book had it all.   Thank you, Linda, for another great read.  Can't wait for the next book.

Kelly - Having read the book, I can say that it was an enjoyable and enlightening experience. The story was captivating and the characters were compelling. The writing was strong and LN Goodyear did an excellent job of capturing the emotions and struggles of the characters. I was impressed by the vivid description of the setting and the attention to detail. The book was filled with exciting plot twists and unexpected plot elements that kept me guessing till the very end. The book also had a great message about the power of family and how we can get through difficult times together. It was an inspiring read that left me feeling uplifted and hopeful. All in all, it was an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it to all readers.

Book Review of The Privateer's Dance by LN Goodyear

We recently had the privilege of reading the book The Privateer's Dance by LN Goodyear. We also interviewed the author on Facebook to find out more about her process of writing her first novel. The story is set in the Victorian era. We all three agreed it was an intriguing book with romance & mystery. You can buy it on Amazon as a digital book.

The following comes from the Amazon website: "Somehow Jessie had to keep her and her mother's dream alive. The dream was all she had left. The events during the last couple months had shattered her world. Her mother's murder coupled with the failed attempt to end her and her father's life, propelled her into a world of despair.
Now her aunt had convinced her father to move the splintered family to her father's brownstone in London in preparation for her Coming Out and Court presentation.
The move would separate her from her friends, home and the source of the dream. The orphanage and school built by her mother and the Duchess of Newbury needed her, the London Ton did not.
The only positive was she would not be exposed daily to the Duke and Duchess' son Jason. He broke her heart once but never again".
